Also, No, not a good point. Blob was shown after M-Day to have lost all of his girth, giving the implication that his weight was tied to his powers. If this was just an artistic choice, the Editor should have said, no make him big again, BUT, there is no way it was simply artistic discretion, he has dialogue speaking about his sudden loss of size, saying that he had tried to cut the extra skin off, but it was too stretchy and wouldn’t cut.
Show canon evidence that his powers aren’t based on his weight, THEN you’ll have a good point.
